Basant 2023 will be celebrated on January 26. Basant is a traditional Hindu festival whose full name is Basant Panchami. Basant is traditionally celebrated by Hindus as well as Muslims. Basant is also considered to be a symbol of the arrival of spring as it is celebrated on the first days of the blooming of flowers. It is a winter festival where Muslims fly kites while Hindus perform various forms of worship. Generally, the period of Basant is six days which takes place in the last week of January. The time to celebrate Basant is in the last week of January when mustard flowers bloom in Punjab, Basant is associated with yellow color. Among the most popular places to celebrate Basant in India are Amritsar, Lahore, and Kasur in Pakistan, besides this festival is celebrated in various cities of Pakistan and India. In the 19th century, Maharaja Ranjit Singh did most of the work on Basant. He ordered his courtiers to wear yellow color clothes and organized various types of fairs and festivals which soon spread Basant to other regions. For those who want to go kite flying in 2023, the Government of Pakistan will make kite flying live in the Changa manga forest. So sir those who want to fly kite legally should prepare changa manga and don’t forget to bring your kite and strings

The biggest disadvantage of kite flying is that it causes the death of people.

And due to the increasing number of deaths from kite flying in Pakistan, the Government of Pakistan banned kite flying in 2007.
